How to get your hair summer ready….

With the excitement of summer round the corner it’s only natural we adapt our look. With inspiration everywhere, from high street windows decorated with spring textures and styles to the new colour pallets on your favourite cosmetic counter, we feel ready for change. This change doesn’t have to be drastic or high maintenance but a small nod to summer trends will keep you feeling fresh, revived and modern. Here are some tips to get your hair ready for summer.

1. Keep your styling relaxed

OTT hair has definitely had its day, over styled hair can look forced and old fashioned. This season is all about keeping hair simple, relaxed with an undone feel. Go for longer, grown out looking layers with a loose, natural texture through the ends as seen on Georgia May Jagger and Cara Delevinge.

2. Bronze and beautiful

This season I am in love with the metallic hair trend. By metallic we are talking creating beautiful bronze tones through the hair. This looks great on mid length to longer hair and is super flattering on olive and darker skin tones adding richness and warmth. This look is sported by the stunning Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé and Jessica Biel. This is a great follow up look for clients who were a fan of ombre, as this look is best when created by soft, smudging, freehand techniques. 3. The low ponytail

The low ponytail is a massive catwalk inspired trend for spring summer. Chic and easy to create, this is a perfect look whether your in the office or on the beaches of Ibiza. 4. High Shine

Nothing looks more expensive then good quality, high shine hair. When hair looks glossy everything looks better, from the colour to the styling.
